About the College
The Jaipur Occupational Therapy College was started with Bachelor of Occupational Therapy course in the year 2004 and was affiliated first with University of Rajasthan and thereafter Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. It was the first college in the Government & Private Sector in Rajasthan which runs the Occupational Therapy course. Later in 2012 it became a constituent college of Maharaj Vinayak Global University and started Master of Occupational Therapy & Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy. The College has a tie up with RCM Health Care Services, a recruiting agency from USA.
Our college had hosted All India Occupational Therapy Association conference in the year 2009. Every year the selected students are placed abroad through this organization. Till now more than 35 students have been placed abroad out of which 15 are placed in USA through RCM. The organization also provides guidance and training for examinations like OTR, TOEFL and other formalities for pursuing higher education and jobs abroad.
The college provides in-house O.P.D & Assessment Room for clinical training of the students and development programs such as: Professional Communication Skills Development program (English Language Training), Basic Computer Application knowledge, etc. The college also has tie up with various other hospitals and nursing homes which help to enhance the clinical knowledge of the students under the supervision of faculties.
